01 · The challenge
AmeriTech's staff lounge served as a recruiting tool — candidates passed through it on the way to interviews. The brief was to produce a small, high-finish space on a commodity tenant-improvement budget.
02 · The approach
KMR specified residential-grade materials at commercial price points, sourcing direct from manufacturer reps and avoiding distributor markup on lighting and tile. A single millworker handled all built-ins to keep finish consistency.
03 · The outcome
The lounge came in on budget and has been the most-photographed room in the company's recruiting collateral since opening.
